Micromax has listed the new Bharat 5 Plus smartphone on its official website in India. There has been no announcement from Micromax regarding the phone.
As we mentioned, the Micromax Bharat 5 Plus has been listed online. The Micromax Bharat 5 Plus price in India and its launch date is currently not known, but we've reached out to the company for more information.
The Micromax Bharat 5 Plus sports a 5.2-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) display with 2.5D curved glass and a brightness of 400 nits. The phone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor (unspecified model number), coupled with 2GB of DDR3 RAM. The smartphone features an 8-megapixel rear camera sensor with LED flash. There is also a 5-megapixel front sensor for selfies and video calling. The rear camera has features like Panorama, Time Lapse, Watermark, Beauty Mode, and Bokeh effect. Additionally, the selfie camera has a portrait mode and an 83.3-degree wide-angle lens.
The inbuilt storage is 16GB expandable via microSD card (up to 64GB). In terms of connectivity, the Micromax Bharat 5 Plus has 4G VoLTE, apart from standard options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FM radio, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. There is a 5000mAh battery under the hood, which is claimed to offer a standby time of 21 days.
The Micromax Bharat 5, with a similar 5000mAh battery, was launched in December 2017. Priced at Rs. 5,555, this low-cost 4G smartphone is available at offline retailers. Micromax had also announced the Canvas Infinity Pro with an 18:9 display last month.
