Micromax has announced that it will be launching the new Superfone Ninja 2 A56 which will be priced at Rs. 5,999. This new phone is a successor to the earlier Superfone Ninja. The official release date for this device is yet to be announced, but the company has revealed its specifications.
The dual-SIM phone is powered by an 800 MHz Qualcomm processor, sports 512MB of ROM along with 256MB of RAM. The battery is a 1400 mAh and the phone also has Wi-Fi connectivity. It has an operating system of Android 2.3 Gingerbread. It also comes with a set of pre-installed apps.
The body has two interchangeable red and yellow back panels which are included with the phone. It has a 3 MP rear facing camera and a 3.5-inch display of HVGA resolution. Its memory is expandable up to 32 GB via microSD.
One of the important features of this phone is the presence of the Siri-like voice assistant AISHA or Artificial Intelligence Speech Handset Assistant. This feature made its debut on the previous Micromax Superfone Ninja A50. Through the feature of voice commands it can open a map, search the web and dial numbers. It also allows people to update their status on social networking websites such as Facebook and Twitter.
