Meizu has just launched the m3s smartphone in China. The smartphone comes in two variants, with one sporting 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage, and the other 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt. storage. They are priced at CNY 699 (roughly Rs. 7,200) and CNY 899 (roughly Rs. 9,200) respectively. The Meizu m3s smartphone is up for pre-order on the company store, and will go on sale from Friday.
As far as the specifications go, the Meizu m3s smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop-based Flyme OS 5.1, and supports a hybrid dual-SIM card slot. It features a 5-inch HD (1280x720 pixels) display with 2.5D curved glass protection. The smartphone runs on a (four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.5GHz, and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1GHz A53) MediaTek octa-core processor with Mali T860 GPU.
As mentioned earlier, the Meizu m3S comes in two bundles. The RAM options available are at 2GB and 3GB, with corresponding storage options of 16GB, and 32GB. There is also a microSD slot (second SIM slot) for storage expansion via card (up to 128GB).
Optics include a 13-megapixel rear camera, with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF, f/2.2 aperture. There is also a 5-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. The Meizu m3s smartphone packs a 3020mAh battery, and comes a fingerprint scanner one the home button. The connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS / GLONASS support.
The dimensions of the Meizu m3s smartphone measure at 141.9x69.9x8.3mm, and it weighs 138 grams. The smartphone will be available in Gold, Silver, Grey and Pink colour options. There is no word on the global availability of the smartphone.
