LG had first showcased the Optimus L5 at MWC held in Barcelona this year and later in June announced that the Optimus L5 would come with a dual-SIM and include NFC support in certain regions.
Now the LG Optimus L5 Dual is available in the country in black and white colour options with online retailer
Flipkart for Rs. 13,499. This is the third dual-SIM Android smartphone from the Korean manufacturer, the other two being the L3 Dual and Optimus Net Dual in India.
Specs wise, the Optimus L5 Dual is similar to its single-SIM variant, the
Optimus L5. It sports a 4-inch (320×480 pixels) IPS display and runs on Android 4.0 with the customised Optimus UI 3.0 atop. It has dual-SIM (GSM + GSM) support similar to the
Optimus L3 Dual that went on sale in India in August.
On the inside, the Optimus L5 Dual is powered by an 800 MHz Processor with 512MB RAM. It also features a 5MP auto-focus camera with flash, 4GB of internal memory (2.6 GB user memory) and expandable memory up to 32GB via microSD.
The device comes with a 1,500mAh battery and connectivity features include, 3G (HSDPA 7.2Mbps), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0 and A-GPS.
LG's recent launches include the
Optimus L9,
