LG Optimus L3 II Dual is a dual-SIM smartphone that comes with 3.2-inch QVGA IPS display. It houses a 1,540mAh battery. Other specs on the Optimus L3 II Dual include a 1GHz single core processor with 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage and a 3-megapixel camera. This smartphone is priced at Rs. 8,800.
The device runs on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) out of the box along with Optimus 3.0 UI. Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth and aGPS. There is a 3-megapixel rear camera on the smartphone and no front camera. Dimensions of this smartphone are 102.9 x 61.3 x 11.9mm. The LG Optimus L3 II Dual comes loaded with features like- Smart Forwarding, Safety Care and My Location Notice.
LG Optimus L7 II Dual is powered by 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM8225 processor with 768MB RAM, 4GB of internal storage and microSD card support. It, features a 4.3-inch IPS WVGA displayand runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean).
The handset measures 121.5 x 66.6 x 9.7 mm, and comes with a 2,460 mAh battery. Priced at Rs. 18,650, LG Optimus L7 II Dual packs in an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash. The rear camera is capable of taking pictures via Voice Commands with CheeseShutter. There is also a VGA front-facing camera for video calls.
It is a dual-SIM smartphone, which comes with LG's Quick Switch Hot Key makes switching between both the SIMs easy. The LG L7 II dual comes pre-installed with apps such as QuickTranslator, QSlide, and Live LG Mobile TV.
Both these smartphones were launched in February 2013. Earlier in the month, LG Optimus L3 II Dual and LG Optimus L7 II Dual had been listed on Flipkart.com for Rs. 7,899 and Rs. 14,990 respectively.
The company claims that it has managed to sell 10 million Optimus L Series phones in the first 10 months, and it expects L Series II looks to continue this momentum with its sophisticated style and differentiated features.
According to Amit Gujral, Head Marketing, LG Mobiles, "The smartphone market is growing at an incredible pace, and the global mobile subscribers is predicted to touch 3.9 billion in 2017. India is catching up fast to this smartphone race and, according to Gartner, mobile device sales in India are forecast to reach 251 million units in 2013, an increase of 13.5 percent over 2012 sales. With the launch of LG Optimus L7 II Dual and L3 II Dual, LG plans to reap the benefits of the intense smartphone demand in India, as well as to build on its heritage of technological innovation."
