After LG's
launch of its flagship, the
LG G4, last month, rumours and leaks for the lite or mini-variant the LG G4c (H525N) have already started surfacing on the Web. The smartphone has appeared on an e-commerce site alongside its tentative launch date and price, apart from specifications.
As expected from a lite-variant, the listed specifications of the LG G4c are significantly lower-end than that of its flagship version, the LG G4, as seen on the listing page. The handset is currently listed on an European e-commerce
website (
via GSMArena) called 0815 revealing the specifications and the price, which is EUR 297.50 (roughly Rs. 21,400).
As per the listing, the LG G4c will feature a 5-inch HD IPS display and be powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC clubbed with 1GB of RAM. The smartphone equips 8GB of inbuilt storage and along with an option to expand it via microSD card.
The plastic built G4c sports 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. 3G and NFC connectivity support are tipped as well. An LG UX 4.0 skin based on Android 5.0 Lollipop is expected for the mid-range handset, which features a similar design to the LG G4. The firm is yet to confirm the aforementioned rumours.
LG last month launched the G4 smartphone, the design on which features a 'Slim Arc' that runs along its entire body, highlighted by a display with a subtle curvature. LG claims that Slim Arc offers 20 percent better durability than a flat smartphone in face-down drops, while also offering a better grip. The company said it aims to sell 12 million G4 handsets globally.
