Two new LG devices are now doing the rounds of the rumour mill, the B2 and B1Lite. The B2 is expected to be the LG G3 flagship smartphone, while the B1Lite is expected to be the LG G Pro 2 Lite. The B2 is expected to feature two variants, LG-D851 and LG-VS985, where the latter is the Verizon-branded model.
The B2 (LG-D851 and LG-VS985) is rumoured to feature a QHD (1440x3560 pixel) display alongside a 13-megapixel rear camera. Based on QHD rumours that surfaced last week, the smartphone may just be the next LG flagship, the LG G3, or the Google Nexus 6 - which is expected to be based on the former.
Other reports support the speculation the LG-VS985 is in fact the LG G3, with a Ortud forum user recently posting what was claimed to be a shot taken by the LG G3's camera, with EXIF data pointing to a 13-megapixel resolution. The user, Geek, additionally mentioned "My friend is testing LG G3 for mobile operator, so he has access to that smartphone. He sent to me couple of sample photos from LG G3. I just uploaded one, so u can see that G3 is a really big thing - just look at this perfect photo."
Another image leaked showed a device with model number the B1Lite, which is said to be the LG G Pro 2 lite. The tipster that leaked the device to Phonearena said the LG G Pro 2 Lite also had two variants, the LG-D631 and LG-VS880, with the latter the Verizon-branded model.
Another report coming from Korea's ET News (via Phonearena ) indicates the anticipated LG G3 will join the dust and water-resistant bandwagon, following the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S5 and a number of Sony Xperia handsets.
