The LG G2 Lite seems to be a basic variant of the LG G2 mini, while LG L Prime is a new L-series smartphone.
There is no mention of pricing on the company's site; though G4forGames notes that both the new LG smartphones are available in Brazil via retailers at roughly $260-$270 (Rs. 16,000-16,500) off-contract. Both the LG G2 Lite and L Prime smartphones come with LG G2-like features such as rear mounted buttons, Knock Code, and Quick Selfies.
According to the official listing, both the LG G2 Lite and L Prime run Android 4.4 KitKat and support dual-SIM.
The LG G2 Lite features a 4.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 480x800 pixels (WVGA) while offers a pixel density of 207ppi. The LG L Prime comes with a 5-inch WVGA IPS display offering a pixel density of 196ppi.
Both the new LG smartphones are powered by quad-core Qualcomm (unspecified chipsets) processors with different clock speeds of 1.2GHz for the G2 Lite D295 and 1.3GHz for the L Prime. Both come with 1GB of RAM.
The G2 Lite comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage, while L Prime includes 8GB built-in storage, and both support expandable storage via microSD card (up to 32GB).
There is an 8-megapixel rear camera on the G2 Lite; though it can record only WVGA (480x800) videos. It also comes with a 0.3-megapixel front camera.
The LG L Prime, on the other hand, sports an 8-megapixel rear camera that can record HD (720x1280) videos. There is a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera also onboard.
Connectivity options on the LG G2 Lite and L Prime include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS, Micro-USB, and 3G. The G2 Lite is backed by an 1820mAh battery, while a 2460mAh battery powers the L Prime.
LG L Prime (D337) measures 138.15x70.6x107mm, while the G2 Lite, despite being smaller in size, is thicker at 127.5x67.9x11.9mm.
