The South Korean company revealed that major carriers in France, Germany, Hong Kong, Singapore, UK and the US will be the first to offer the LG G Flex2 curved smartphone. The handset will also be launched in other markets including North and South America, Europe, and Asia in the weeks following MWC 2015. The company has not revealed the price of the handset and additional availability details; though, these can be expected to be announced locally at the time of launch.

The new curved smartphone was first made available in South Korea last month and was priced at KRW 800,000 (roughly Rs. 45,000).
Commenting on the launch, Juno Cho, President and CEO of the LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company said, "The G Flex2 shows the world that there's still room for design innovation in today's smartphones beyond just metal frames and larger displays. We think the G Flex2 is the perfect example of form and function coming together beautifully. It's a smartphone that people simply won't be able to take their eyes off of."
The LG G Flex2 is the first smartphone powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 (a 64-bit octa-core SoC) processor. It is coupled with the Adreno 430 GPU and 2GB of LPDDR4 RAM. The single-SIM smartphone runs Android 5.0 Lollipop and features a 5.5-inch full-HD curved P-OLED display with a 1080x1920 pixels resolution and a 403ppi pixel density.
The LG G Flex2's display has a 700mm-radius curvature, while the back is slightly sharper with a 650mm-radius curvature for grip. The company at the launch also confirmed that it improved the 'Self-Healing' back from the original LG G Flex, and it will now get healed within 10 seconds at room temperature - significantly lower than the last-generation's three minutes.
Other innards include a rear 13-megapixel camera with OIS+, dual-LED two-tone flash, and laser-guided autofocus; a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera; 16GB and 32GB storage variants that are expandable via microSD card, and 3000mAh non-removable battery.
