The Lenovo Vibe X2, which was launched during IFA 2014 earlier this month, has now been listed on the company's India website - hinting at an official launch soon.
However the Lenovo E-shop India website, where the Vibe X2 is listed, gives no information on the smartphone's India pricing or availability. Notably, the handset is priced at $399 (Rs. 24,000 approximately) outside India.
The Vibe X2 has been billed by Lenovo as the 'world's first layered smartphone' and the handset sports a tri-layered design.
The dual-SIM version of the Vibe X2 has been listed on the company's India website. The smartphone features a 5-inch (1080x1920 pixels) IPS display and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box with Vibe UI 2.0.
The Lenovo Vibe X2 is powered by a 2GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6595m processor. It comes with 2GB of RAM, and includes 32GB of inbuilt storage. Other specifications include a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera; a 5-megapixel front camera; a 2300mAh battery; 4G LTE; Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac; Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. It measures 140.2x68.6x7.27mm and weighs 120 grams.
Lenovo also introduced click-on accessories called Vibe Xtensions for the Vibe X2, including the Vibe X2 Battery and Vibe X2 Speaker, during the launch of the smartphone.
Besides Vibe X2, Lenovo also announced the 64-bit processor powered Vibe Z2 handset at the same event. There is still no word as to when the Vibe Z2 will hit the Indian markets.
Some of the key specifications of the Lenovo Vibe Z2 include a 5.5-inch (720x1280 pixels) HD display; Android 4.4 KitKat; a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.2GHz alongside 2GB of RAM; a 13-megapixel rear autofocus camera; an 8-megapixel front fixed focus camera, and a 3000mAh battery.
