As expected, Lenovo has launched its budget Vibe K5 smartphone in India, priced at Rs. 6,999. The smartphone will be available through a flash sale model on Amazon India, with registrations beginning Monday 1pm for the sale at 2pm on June 22. It will be available in Gold, Silver, and Grey colour variants.

Lenovo Vibe K5 was
globally unveiled at
MWC 2016 alongside the Vibe K5 Plus. The
Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus however made it to India in
March at Rs. 8,499.
The Android 5.1 Lollipop-based Vibe K5 sports a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) display, and is powered by a 1.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 SoC that's coupled with 2GB of RAM. It bears a 13-megapixel rear camera with flash, and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
The phone bears 16GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 32GB). The Lenovo Vibe K5 runs on a 2750mAh removable battery, measures 142x71x8.2mm, and weighs 150 grams.
Connectivity options on the Lenovo Vibe K5 include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM, 3G, 4G (with support for Indian LTE networks). Sensors on the phone include proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, accelerometer, and gyroscope.
