Lenovo has quietly introduced a new affordable smartphone, the Vibe A, in Russia. The Chinese company as of now has not revealed pricing of the Lenovo Vibe A smartphone. We can expect the handset to be soon available in the local market.
The Lenovo Vibe A features a 4-inch WVGA (480x800 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731G processor paired with 512MB of RAM. The handset packs just 4GB of inbuilt storage and supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 32GB). It is backed by a 1700mAh removable battery. The Android 5.1 Lollipop-based Vibe A runs Vibe UI and supports dual-SIM. It sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and there is a 0.3-megapixel front camera on board as well. It supports 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, and Micro-USB connectivity options. There's no 4G LTE support on the Lenovo Vibe A. It measures 124.5x64x10.6mm and weighs 132 grams. The smartphone will come in Black and White colours. The Vibe A launch was first reported by Helpix Russian site.
The Chinese company had recently also unveiled the Vibe C2 smartphone in Russia. The Lenovo Vibe C2 featured a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display and powered by a 1GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. It packed 8GB of inbuilt storage and supported expandable storage via microSD card (up to 32GB). The handset came in a 16GB inbuilt storage model. The Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based Vibe C2 ran Vibe UI on top. Backed by a 2750mAh battery, the Lenovo C2 smartphone supported 4G, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and Micro-USB connectivity options.
