Lenovo 'Lemon X' aka Vibe X3 was first spotted earlier this month in Tenaa Chinese certification website and last week show up in a rendered image as well. The rumoured smartphone has now gone through the GeekBench benchmark cementing the previous speculations about its specifications.

As per the benchmark listing shared by Napidroid, the Lenovo Vibe X3 runs on a hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 SoC (two Cortex A57 cores + four A53 cores) clocked at a minimum of 1.4GHz, clubbed with 3GB of RAM. This piece of information goes in line with the smartphone's Tenaa listing from earlier this month. The listing also shows the smartphone running Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

From the past leaks and rumours the unannounced Lenovo Vibe X3 is tipped to include a 5.5-inch full-HD display, 21-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash, and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone purportedly also supports 4G LTE connectivity, measures 154x76.49.4mm, and weighs 175 grams. A fingerprint sensor is also seen placed right below the rear camera and the dual-tone flash.

The smartphone is said to be the first by Lenovo that has been designed by the Motorola hardware team. The company representative recently said that "MBG (Mobile Business Group) will continue to drive Lenovo's overall mobile business, but will now rely on Motorola to design, develop and manufacture smartphone products." Lenovo had then added that Rick Osterloh, formerly president, Motorola, will be the leader of the combined smartphone unit.

The handset's rear panel features a metal frame with antenna bands on top and bottom edges - something we have seen in the Motorola-manufacturer Google Nexus 6 and Moto X smartphones. The rear camera and the LED flash are placed inside a pill-shaped panel, which again is seen in most of the Motorola handsets. The front panel however, sports three capacitive buttons - Home, Back and Multi-Window - something which none of the Motorola smartphones include.
