Lenovo K8 Plus price in India has been reduced to Rs. 7,999, according to updated listings on Flipkart, where the smartphone is available exclusively. This is a limited period offer and is valid on both the Venom Black and Fine Gold colour variants. Flipkart is also offering 3-month no-cost EMI plans with Bajaj Finserv. To recap, the Lenovo K8 Plus was launched in India in September last year at a price of Rs. 10,999. It was, however, until recently available for an MOP of Rs. 9,999.
Just recently, the smartphone was available at the same price of Rs. 7,999 in Flipkart's Mobile Bonanza sale back in March this year. Additionally, other smartphones such as the Google Pixel 2 XL and Oppo F3 were sold for discounted prices during the same sale period.
The dual-SIM (Nano) Lenovo K8 Plus runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box. It sports a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. In terms of internals, the handset comes with a MediaTek Helio P25 SoC, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of inbuilt storage. Storage is expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB).
In terms of optics, the Lenovo K8 Plus bears a single 13-megapixel rear sensor with features like dual LED flash and PDAF. On the front is a 8-megapixel selfie camera with 'Party Flash'. There is a large 4000mAh battery under the hood. Talking about connectivity, the K8 Plus comes with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, FM Radio, a 3.5mm audio jack, and Micro-USB with OTG. The phone also has an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass, gyroscope, and a proximity sensor.
