For specifications, the Lenovo A6600 and A6600 Plus feature identical innards with just one difference. The A6600 features 1GB of RAM while the A6600 Plus packs 2GB of RAM. Other specifications of the two include 5-inch HD display with 72 percent screen to body ratio; 1GHz quad-core MediaTek 6735P processor; 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, and 2-megapixel front camera. Both the A6600 series smartphones support VoLTE on both SIMs, which means they will work on the Reliance Jio Network. There's 16GB inbuilt storage which can be further expanded via microSD card. The handsets are backed by 2300mAh battery. Earlier this month, the Lenovo A6600 smartphone was reported to be available in the Indian market.

Lenovo A7700, on the other hand, features a 5.5-inch HD display and is powered by the same MediaTek 6735P processor that is present on the A6600 and A6600 Plus. The A7700 also sports twin rear speakers powered by Waves Maxxaudio effect. It sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash. Lenovo A7700 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and comes with 16GB expandable storage. It is backed by a 2900mAh battery.

Announcing the new A-series smartphones, Sudhin Mathur, Executive Director, Mobile Business Group, Lenovo India said, "The Lenovo A series is one of our star performers and last year, we sold a million plus units of A6000, A6000 Plus and A7000.
