The company earlier on Wednesday had announced that 20,000 Lenovo A6000 phones will be up for sale. Lenovo announced the news via its official Lenovo India Twitter account.

Lenovo India in a press statement has claimed that there were 200,000 registrations for the sale on Wednesday. The company also confirmed that the registrations for the third sale of the Lenovo A6000 will begin at 6pm IST.
The first sale last week saw Lenovo's A6000 4G-enabled smartphone going out of stock in just 2 seconds.
To refresh, Lenovo's pricing for the Lenovo A6000 significantly undercuts the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G - which sells at Rs. 9,999 - and Micromax's Yu Yureka - which is priced at Rs. 8,999. The Lenovo A6000 is compatible with the Band 3 and Band 40 (TDD-LTE) 4G networks used in India.
Other specifications include a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display; a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) clocked at 1.2GHz; with 1GB of RAM; Android 4.4 KitKat with Lenovo's Vibe UI 2.0 skin on top; 8GB of built-in storage with expandability via microSD card (up to 32GB); 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash; a 2-megapixel front camera, and a 2300mAh battery. The company has already promised Android 5.0 Lollipop update without revealing any time-frame. The dual-SIM smartphone supports Micro-SIM cards, measures 141x70x8.2mm, and weighs 128 grams.
