LeEco (formerly LeTV) seems to be working on more than one variant of its Le 2 smartphone behind the curtains. Different handset variants have already passed certification websites and been spotted in leaks tipping different specifications. This time, a new variant has gone through a benchmarking website revealing a new set of specifications. This is also the first time we have witnessed a LeEco smartphone housing 6GB of RAM.
Based on the new set of specifications, the handset might come with a different moniker such as Le 2, Le 2 Pro, or even Le Max 2. Based on the listing seen on GFXBench website, the smartphone termed as 'LeTV LeEco Le X820' runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out-of-the-box and features a 5.5-inch QHD (1440x2560 pixels) resolution display. It is backed by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, clubbed with 6GB of RAM and Adreno 530 GPU.
The LeEco Le X820 houses 64GB of inbuilt storage. Also included is a 20-megapixel autofocus rear camera with face detection and LED flash. There is a 7-megapixel front-facing camera as well. The rear camera is capable of shooting 4K resolution videos, while the front-facing camera can shoot 2K resolution videos.
Based on the latest reports, a different version of the Le 2 is supposed to feature a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display; deca-core MediaTek Helio X20; 3GB of RAM; 32GB of storage; 16-megapixel rear camera; 8-megapixel front camera, and a 3000mAh battery.
Another variant is said to sport a 5.7-inch QHD display; Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor; 4GB of RAM; 21-megapixel rear camera with LED flash; 8-megapixel front camera; 64GB inbuilt storage; LTE support; Wi-Fi; Bluetooth, and USB Type-C.
