Lava launches Iris 455 with 4.5-inch display, Android Jelly Bean

Lava Iris 455 is the latest launch from the handset maker. The phone comes with a 4.5-inch 540x960 pixels capacitive display and runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

Lava Iris 455 is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor alongside 512MB RAM, and comes with 4GB internal storage, that can be expanded by another 32GB via microSD card. Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.

Lava Iris 455 is a is a dual-SIM dual-GSM standby phone that comes with a 1,500 mAh battery that the company claims offers up to 6 hours of 3G talk time. The phone comes with a 5-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front camera.

There's no word yet on the availability or pricing of Lava Iris 455, though since the phone is a successor to Lava Iris 454, we expect the pricing to be similar.

Lava Iris 454 comes with a 4.5-inch qHD IPS display and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It is a dual-SIM (GSM + GSM) smartphone.

Lava Iris 454 comes with 1GHz dual-core processor with 512MB RAM. The internal storage available on the device is 2GB and can be further expanded through a microSD card. For camera, there is an 8-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front camera. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi. Lava Iris 454 comes with a 1,650mAh battery and is priced at Rs. 8,499.
