The Lava Iris X5 4G is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device and comes with a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display offering a pixel density of 294ppi. It also features Asahi Dragontrail glass.
The smartphone is powered by a 64-bit 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. The Iris X5 4G comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). It sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with f2.0 aperture, dual-LED flash, and Largan Lens with blue glass filter, while there is a secondary 8-megapixel front-facing camera also on board. The rear camera features scene detection, face recognition, low light enhancement, Panorama, geo tagging, burst shot, smile shot, and HDR options. On the connectivity front, the Iris X5 4G, apart from 4G, offers 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, GPS/ A-GPS, and Bluetooth options.
The smartphone packs a 2500mAh battery, measures 141.6x70.8x7.6mm, and weighs 128 grams. The smartphone will be available in Black and White colours, according to Amazon India listing. It packs sensors such as accelerometer, ambient light sensor, magnetometer, and proximity sensor.
