The highlight of the smartphone at its price is that it comes with 3GB of RAM and supports Indian 4G LTE bands. The dual-SIM (Micro-SIM card) Lava X10 runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and the company touts that the handset will be upgradeable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The Lava X10 features a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display with a pixel density of 293ppi. It also sports Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor.
The handset features a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash and also packs a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It bears 16GB of built-in storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro-USB, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack, apart from 4G LTE support.
The X10 weighs 105 grams and is backed by a 2900mAh battery, which is rated to deliver up to 15.3 hours of talk time and up to 849.2 hours of standby time. The smartphone ahead of the official launch was listed by Homeshop18 e-commerce website at Rs. 10,990. The smartphone will be available in Icy White and Royal Black colours.
Lava last month launched the Iris Atom 2X smartphone priced at Rs. 4,499. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, and features a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) IPS display with 217ppi pixel density. The Lava smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. Sporting a 5-megapixel rear camera, the Lava Iris Atom 2X also features a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. It bears 8GB of built-in storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB) and is backed by a 2000mAh battery.
