The Iris 310 Style is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device which runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. It is an upgraded variant of the Lava Iris 310.
It comes with a 3.5-inch (320x480 pixels) HVGA TFT display. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek (MT6571) processor coupled with 256MB of RAM and Mali-400 MP GPU.
The Lava Iris 310 Style comes with 2GB of ROM and supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 32GB). It sports a 2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, while there is a secondary 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera also onboard.
On the connectivity front, the Lava Iris 310 Style offers GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth options. Unfortunately, the smartphone does not support 3G connectivity.
The smartphone packs a 1400mAh battery, which according to the listing is rated to deliver up to 11 hours of talk time, and up to 290 hours of standby time on 2G networks. The Iris 310 Style measures 113x61x12.65mm and will be available in Black, Blue, and Brown colours. It sports metallic back finish.
Earlier this month, Lava expanded its Iris Fuel series with the launch of the Iris Fuel 60 (Review | Pictures) in India, with the smartphone's main USP its long-lasting battery life with its large 4000mAh battery. Priced at Rs. 8,888, the smartphone went on sale starting December 25, in Black and White colour variants.
The dual-SIM Lava Iris Fuel 60 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat, with a promised over-the-air (OTA) upgrade to Android 5.0 Lollipop.
