Karbonn Titanium S20 with Android 4.4 KitKat Launched at Rs. 4,999

Karbonn on Tuesday has launched the Titanium S20 priced at Rs. 4,999. The smartphone is exclusively available on Amazon India and comes with a bundled Aircel offer of 500MB free data for three months starting October 2.

The dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) Karbonn Titanium S20 runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box and features a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) display. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad core processor (unknown chipset) coupled with 1GB of RAM. The smartphone features a 5-megapixel rear camera, while there is a 0.3-megapixel front facing camera also onboard.

The handset packs 4GB of inbuilt storage which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). Connectivity options on the Karbonn Titanium S20 include 3G, Wi-Fi, FM radio, Bluetooth, and GPS/ A-GPS. The battery on the smartphone is 1600mAh.

We strongly believe in the potential of mobile telephony in empowering the masses and have constantly endeavoured to democratise technology by bringing high end mobile devices at affordable price points," said Shashin Devsare, Executive Director, Karbonn Mobiles.

Last week, Karbonn's first Windows Phone-based smartphone, the Titanium Wind W4, became available on Amazon India website at Rs. 5,999, although no announcements have been made by Karbonn about the official launch of the smartphone.

The Karbonn Titanium Wind W4 runs Windows Phone 8.1 and much like other Windows Phone-based handsets, will come with 15GB free OneDrive cloud storage space and Microsoft Office pre-installed. The handset supports dual-SIM (GSM+GSM). It features a 4-inch WVGA (480x480 pixels) LCD display and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm (most probably the Snapdragon 200) processor alongside 512MB of RAM.

The Titanium Wind W4 sports a 5-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash, while it also houses a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone includes 4GB of inbuilt storage which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
