It features a 4-inch WVGA IPS display which offers 480x800 pixels resolution.

It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core (unspecified chipset) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The Karbonn Opium N9 smartphone comes with a 8-megapixel rear camera along with LED flash support, while there is a front-facing camera 2-megapixel also onboard.
Inbuilt storage on the Karbonn Opium N9 is 4GB just like the Opium N7, which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 32GB). Connectivity options on the Opium N9 smartphone include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
