Every year, leading up to the iPhone launch, there are dozens of rumours and leaks. Just like every other year, even this year's lead-up to the launch has witnessed several leaks. A new video seems to confirm several rumours regarding the alleged iPhone 7 that is scheduled to be launched in September by Apple.

Posted alongside images on Weibo (via 9to5Mac, the video shows a purported iPhone 7 alongside the iPhone 6s.

The alleged iPhone 7 unit in the video lacks a 3.5 mm headphone jack, has a larger camera, and redesigned antenna lines as well. The unit also shows a camera bulge that was seen earlier in an image leaked last week.

The headphone jack is seemingly replaced by an additional speaker grille. Now this might be because Apple wants to provide better speaker performance or because iPhone's next iteration is going to be waterproof and additional grille might make up for the loss of sound caused due to waterproofing the phone. As of this point, it is really hard to say.

The alleged iPhone 7 is rumoured to pack 3GB of RAM compared with 2GB RAM earlier and is also expected to ditch 16GB of base storage model, only to be replaced by 32GB storage base model.

The smartphone's larger variant, being termed iPhone 7 Plus, which cannot be seen in this leaked video, is expected to don a dual-camera setup and is also believed to have a Smart Connector. Smart Connector was first introduced with iPad Pro for connection with the Smart Keyboard Cover and other accessories.

However, like every other rumour and leak that has surfaced before, we will advise to take this one with a grain of salt as well
