Leaks about Apple's upcoming smartphone are pouring in, and the latest one comes in the form of render images. These images give us a close look at the 4.7-inch iPhone 7 from all angles.
GSMArena claims that it has obtained these images from a 'reputed source' in the case-making business. If these images are credible, Apple is truly getting rid of the antenna bands at the back and shifting them to the top and bottom edges. The bottom end of the device houses two speaker grilles, and the Lightning port.
The 3.5mm audio jack is not to be seen, but nor is the Smart Connector. The back of the device reveals that the camera bump will remain. The dual camera setup is expected to be exclusive to the larger 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus, therefore these iPhone 7 renders see the traditional camera setup at the back. There is no change when it comes to the placement of volume rockers, the volume switch, and the power button. The front of the device sees no tweaks. The home button is placed in the centre, where the Touch ID sensor is likely to remain.
In terms of design, the iPhone 7 is not expected to get a major upgrade. The smartphone is tipped to launch in three variants namely - iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, and iPhone 7 Pro/ iPhone 7 Plus Premium. Apple's suppliers Foxconn and Pegatron have begun mass hiring workers urgently to meet this surge in production units. In terms of specifications, the larger iPhone is expected to come with 3GB of RAM to accommodate the dual camera setup. For the latest tech news and reviews, follow Gadgets 360 on X, Facebook, WhatsApp, Threads and Google News.
