While Airtel has started taking pre-orders for the new iPhones in India, Reliance plans to offer the iPhones starting November 1. However, there is no official word on the pricing of both the devices in India.
In the meantime, Apple announced that both iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c will be available in more than a dozen countries from November 1 which will also include India.
Both the new iPhones will also be available starting November 1 in countries like Albania, Armenia, Bahrain, Colombia, El Salvador, Guam, Guatemala, Macedonia, Malaysia, Mexico, Moldova, Montenegro, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and UAE.
As of now, both iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c are currently available in the US, Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore and the UK.
Both iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s will ship with iOS 7, the latest version of Apple's mobile operating system.
Prior to this, Apple announced that it had sold a record-breaking nine million new iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c models, just three days after the launch of the new generation of iPhone devices on September 20.
Apple's new iPhones rollout in India is the latest sign of an ever-tightening competition in the Indian smartphone market, which has players like Samsung, Micromax and Nokia battling out for the top spot.
