The latest in the series is a high definition video posted by iPhone jailbreaker Tanner Marsh of iCrackUriDevice fame, which features the alleged back panels of the iPhone 5C in all five colours expected to be available when the phone launches.
The video features good quality hands-on footage of the Red, Yellow, Green, Blue and White iPhone 5C back panels. As per the video the iPhone 5C back panel will sport a metal and plastic frame inside, to support and secure internal components. The iPhone 5C's hardware buttons will be similar to the iPhone 5's keys except for the volume rocker keys, which are pill shaped similar to the ones seen on the 5th generation iPod touch.
At the bottom of the phone, there's a small hole for the second microphone, next to the 3.5mm headset jack port, two screw holes with the Lightning connector port at the centre, and four holes for the speaker towards bottom right. The cut-out for the SIM card tray on the right side doesn't fit a micro-SIM, and so the phone, just like the iPhone 5, is likely to support only a Nano-SIM.
The back features the same round camera lens and LED flash, Apple logo and iPhone branding, as seen in previous leaks.
The low-cost iPhone or iPhone 5C has leaked several times. However, we've not heard much about the specifications of the phone till now.
Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 5S along with the iPhone 5C, the cheaper version of the iPhone, on September 10 at an event in San Francisco. For the latest tech news and reviews, follow Gadgets 360 on X, Facebook, WhatsApp, Threads and Google News.
