iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Max have been launched at Apple's special event. Apple CEO Tim Cook began the event by talking about Apple Arcade, which is the company's subscription service for video games. There is a new Apple Arcade tab on the App Store on iOS. Apple Arcade games are not available anywhere else, Apple claims. After this we saw a few gameplay demos of Apple Arcade games. The first game to be shown was Konami's Frogger in Toy Town. Then we saw Capcom's Shinsekai: Into the Depths gameplay demo. Then we saw a game made by Simogo and published by Annapurna called Sayonara Wild Hearts. Apple Arcade price is $4.99 per month for the whole family and Apple Arcade price in India is Rs. 99 per month.

Tim Cook then returned to talk about Apple TV+ and mentioned exclusive shows such as The Morning Show, For All Mankind, and more. Cook highlighted the show See, which is set in the future and stars Jason Momoa, and shared its worldwide premiere trailer. Apple TV+ will be available in over 100 countries at launch starting November 1, and it'll be priced at $4.99 per month for a family subscription. You get one year of Apple TV+ for free if you purchase an iPhone, iPad, Mac, or an Apple TV starting today, Cook said. Apple TV+ will cost Rs. 99 per month in India.

The Apple event then moved to the announcements around the iPad. The iPad (7th Gen) was launched at the Apple event. It features a 10.2-inch Retina Display, which is bigger than the model it replaces. The iPad features support for the Smart Connector which lets it support Apple's keyboard cases. The new iPad costs $329 (roughly Rs. 23,410) in the US and Rs. 29,900 in India. It's available from today and starts shipping in the US on September 30.

Up next, the Apple Watch. First Apple revealed that it is conducting research into health data that Apple users can opt in to if they wish, via the Apple Research app. This app will be available in the US later this year. The next Apple Watch is called Apple Watch Series 5 and it has an always-on Retina display. The display has LTPO, a technology that allows the watch to refresh dynamically between 1Hz to 60Hz for better power efficiency. The device still has all-day battery life, Apple claims.

The Apple Watch Series 5 has a built-in compass. You can add the compass to watch faces and this is available for third-party apps too. Apple Watch Series 5 has new safety features too. The cellular model of Apple Watch Series 5 has international emergency calling in several countries. Series 5 has the widest assortment of case finishes, Apple said, adding that there is a new Titanium finish. There's a ceramic finish too, and new Nike+ models, new Hermes models too.

Apple Watch Series 5 GPS models will start at $399 and cellular models will cost $499. Apple Watch Series 5 price in India is Rs. 40,900 for GPS, and Rs. 49,900 for Cellular. You can order these in the US today and it'll start shipping September 30. Apple Watch Series 3 starting price has been slashed to $199 in the US and Rs. 20,900 in India.

Apple then launched the new iPhones. First up, iPhone 11. This phone has a 6.1-inch Liquid Retina display, and is available in six colours. It has spatial audio and Dolby Atmos support. It has a dual rear camera setup with a wide angle lens and an ultra wide angle lens with an 120-degree field of view. Both are 12-megapixel cameras. iPhone 11 also has a Night mode, which helps low light photography. Apple says Night mode automatically turns itself on when it detects low light and brigtens image, reduces noise, and the results are dramatic -- at least if you believe the results Apple showed on stage. iPhone 11 has 4K 60fps support too.

The iPhone 11 has a new feature called QuickTake. When you are taking a photo, you can quickly take a video without breaking stride. The iPhone 11 has a 12-MP front camera with a wider sensor for better selfies. You can capture 4K 60fps videos and slow-motion videos with the front camera. The iPhone 11 has the A13 Bionic chip, which Apple claims is the fastest CPU and GPU ever in a smartphone. The iPhone 11 is IP68 rated for water and dust resistance, and it will offer 1 hour more battery life than iPhone XR, Apple said. The iPhone 11 is priced starting at Rs. 64,900 in India ($699 in the US) for the base 64GB variant. The phone's 128GB and 256GB variants will retail at Rs. 69,900 ($749 in the US) and Rs. 79,900 ($849), respectively.

Then Apple moved on to talk about the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max with triple rear cameras. The iPhone 11 Pro has two display sizes -- 5.8 inches and 6.5 inches. The display resolution is 458ppi. The iPhone 11 Pro supports HDR10, spatial audio, Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos. Its display is called Super Retina. iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max have four and five hours longer battery life than their predecessors respectively. The triple rear camera comprises a 12-megapixel wide angle camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera, and a telephoto camera as well. The iPhone 11 Pro series ships with an 18W fast charger in the box. iPhone 11 Pro has an upcoming feature called Deep Fusion -- it shoots nine images, including four before you press the shutter button. The neural engine then optimises the image pixel by pixel to pick the best photo for you.

All three iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max cameras can shoot videos in 4K 60fps. You can now edit a video via the Photos app too. There's a new font for the Camera app too and it's called SF Camera, Apple said.

iPhone 11 Pro will start at Rs. 99,900 ($999 in the US) and iPhone 11 Pro Max will start at Rs. 109,900 ($1,099 in the US). You can pre-order all iPhone 11 models at 5AM PDT on September 13, and they start shipping on September 20th. The iPhone 8 is now at Rs. 39,900 ($449 in the US) and the iPhone XR is at Rs. 49,900 ($599 in the US). Apple has also announced an updated trade-in program that allows you to return your old iPhone and get a discount on the new one. You can also customise the Apple Watch to pair a band of your choice with the watch finish of your choice.
