While everyone is ready with open arms for iOS 10, which was announced at WWDC 2016 in June and is due to be released in the fall, Apple has quietly pushed out iOS 9.3.3 update to its devices. The iOS update contains bug fixes and some performance improvements.

The update is available to download for free for all iPhone, iPad, and iPod models that support iOS 9 including the dated iPhone 4s, the iPad 2, and the first-generation iPad mini. iOS 9.3.3 is available over-the-air (OTA) on compatible devices (Settings -> General -> Software Update) as well as via iTunes on your PC or Mac.

It should be brought into consideration that the previous update 9.3.2, that was pushed out by the company in May, reportedly bricked several 9.7-inch iPad Pro devices and the company had to roll back the update as a result of it. In June, the company resolved the issue and re-released its update. The iOS 9.3.3 update is a minor one, and users are of course anticipating the iOS 10 update, which will bring along major changes that include completely revamped Messages app, new lock screen widgets, third-party app control for Siri, and a redesigned Apple Music app. The update will also bring improvements to Photos app, Apple News, Apple Maps and will bring along capability of transcribing voicemails.Apple on Monday also released the third iOS 10 beta to developers. The new beta brings along various visual as well as functional changes to iOS 10 beta 2. Availability of the third iOS 10 public beta should follow soon via the public beta program. Along with this, the company also released third developer preview of macOS Sierra as well as the third beta of watchOS 3 for developers.

The company also released third beta for tvOS 10 and has also officially released OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 on Monday to the Mac App Store. The general release builds of watchOS, iOS 10, and macOS Sierra are all scheduled to come this fall
