Intex has launched the Cloud Y4+ budget handset, listing it as available on its official website for Rs. 5,990. The smartphone is available to buy from the Intex website.
The dual-SIM supported Intex Cloud Y4+ is a revamped version of the previously released Intex Cloud Y4, which came out in 2013, and runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS.
The Intex Cloud Y4+ features a 4-inch WVGA (480x800 pixel) resolution, which works out to a pixel density of roughly 233 ppi, and has a 262K colour gamut. The smartphone, under the hood, is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572 processor, paired with 512MB of RAM.
The camera options on the Intex Cloud Y4+ include a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, apart from a front-facing 1.3-megapixel shooter. The handset comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.
Connectivity options on the Intex Cloud Y4+ include 3G, Bluetooth, FM radio, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB and A-GPS. A 1400mAh battery powers the device, rated to deliver up to 6 hours of talk time.
The Intex Cloud Y4+ smartphone measures 127x65x10.7mm, and weighs 122 grams. The handset is available in Black, White, Blue, Red and Yellow colour variants.
Some of the preloaded applications that come with the Cloud Y4+ are Intex Play, Intex Cloud, Quickr, WeChat, Vault, Headline Today, Intex Games Club, Intex Zone, Skype, Hungama, and YouTube.
In February, Intex launched its budget smartphone under 'Cloud' series dubbed as Cloud Y12.The dual-SIM 3G supported handset runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS and has pretty much the same specifications like the freshly launched Cloud Y4+.
