After the Cloud S9 launch a few days ago, the Indian smartphone company has launched its Cloud Scan FP handset in the country. The budget smartphone is priced at Rs. 3,999, but packs in a fingerprint sensor at the rear, a 5-megapixel selfie camera, and a dual-SIM card slot for more connectivity flexibility. However, it lacks 4G support.
The Intex Cloud Scan FP is already available to buy in the country, exclusively via Snapdeal, in Champagne and Blue colour variants. The smartphone comes with metallic edges, and the power and volume buttons are all housed on the right edge.
As for the specifications, the Intex Cloud Scan FP features a 5-inch IPS (480x854 pixels) display with 196ppi pixel density. It is powered by a 1.2GHz Spreadtrum SC7731 quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM and Mali400MP GPU. The smartphone offers 8GB worth of inbuilt storage that can be expanded further via microSD card (up to 32GB).
At the back, there is a 5-megapixel rear autofocus camera with an f/2.8 aperture and an LED flash module. Additionally, there is also a 5-megapixel front-facing fixed-focus camera with an f/2.2 aperture. The Intex Cloud Scan FP packs a 2450mAh battery that is claimed to provide up to 5 hours of talk time and 110 hours of standby time.
As mentioned, there is no 4G support, but the smartphone offers 3G, FM radio, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v2.1 +EDR, and USB port. The Intex Cloud Scan FP runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and supports dual-SIM slots (Micro + Nano). The smartphone measures 146.4x73.0x9.65mm, and weighs 153 grams.
