Intex has launched a new budget smartphone in India, the Cloud Fame. Priced at Rs. 3,999, the highlights of the smartphone are that it's 4G-enabled and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The smartphone will be exclusively available to buy via Snapdeal in Chocolate Brown and Dark Blue colour variants.
The dual-SIM Intex Cloud Fame features a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) display, and is powered by an unspecified 1GHz quad-core MediaTek processor that's coupled with 1GB of RAM. The smartphone bears a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, apart from a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
Other specifications of the Intex Cloud Fame include 8GB of built-in storage that's expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB), and standard connectivity options apart from 4G LTE. It is powered by an 1800mAh battery that's rated to deliver up to 7 hours of talk time, and a standby time of 10 days.
It weighs in at 120 grams, and measures 134.4x68x9mm. Intex is also touting the preloaded Matrabhasha that enables communications in 21 regional languages. Other preloaded apps include Follo, Opera Mini, Clean Master, NewsHunt, Freecharge, Hike Messenger, and Saavn.
