Intex Aqua Turbo 4G With Android 5.1, 3000mAh Battery Launched at Rs. 7,444

Intex, after launching the 4G-enabled Aqua 4G+, Aqua Trend, and Cloud 4G Star smartphones, has now launched the Aqua Turbo 4G in India. Priced at Rs. 7,444, the smartphone will be available to buy via retail and online stores.

Apart from 4G LTE connectivity, the highlight of the smartphone is it packs a 3000mAh battery. Running Android 5.0 Lollipop, the Intex Aqua Turbo 4G features a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixel) display. It is powered by a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor, coupled with 1GB of RAM.

The Intex Aqua Turbo 4G comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage, with storage expandability via microSD card (up to 32GB). It sports a 5-megapixel rear camera, and a 2-megapixel front camera. Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi with hotspot functionality, GPS, EDGE/ GPRS, 3G, Bluetooth, Micro-USB, and FM radio. It measures 144.5x72.5x8.9mm and weighs 150 grams.

The Aqua Turbo 4G also features HotKnot file transfer technology, which is similar to near field communications (NFC) in terms of application.

Commenting on the launch, Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, Mobile Business Head, Intex Technologies said, "The Aqua Turbo 4G is yet another powerful 4G LTE device from Intex's kitty. Intex always builds devices with stunning designs and powerful features which are also priced lucratively. This pioneering product comes as a package of smart designing, powerful battery, performance and pre-emptive pricing for our target consumer."

Earlier this week, Intex launched the Aqua 3G Neo smartphone, listing it on its site with a price of Rs. 3,690.
