To recall, a physical retailer on Monday had already claimed that both the Aqua Raze and Aqua Wing were available in the Indian market.
Both the Intex Aqua Raze and Aqua Wing come with similar innards. Both run Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box and are powered by 1GHz quad-core processor. Both the Aqua Raze and Aqua Wing phones pack also 8GB of built-in storage and include 1GB of RAM. Both the handsets sport a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash.
There are few differences as well. The Intex Aqua Raze features a 4.5-inch display while the Aqua Wing comes with a 4-inch display. The Aqua Raze sports a 2-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash. The Aqua Wing (see below) packs a 0.3-megapixel front camera. While both the devices support expandable storage via microSD card, the Aqua Raze supports up to 32GB and Aqua Wing supports up to 128GB. The Intex Aqua Raze packs an 1800mAh battery while the Aqua Wing includes a 1500mAh battery. The Aqua Raze is slightly thinner at 136.5x66x9.35mm while the Aqua Wing at 125x63.5x9.9mm is thicker.
Commenting on the launch, Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, Mobile Business Head, Intex Technologies said, "Intex has always provided the latest technology at affordable prices. We were one of the first to enter the 4G segment and today with the launch of these affordable 4G series, we will get closer to our consumer. The two new devices have been designed and packed with features that will enable the consumers access the world from their phone."
The Aqua Raze comes preloaded with ZaZa Remote, which acts as any universal remote, and allows users to control various home appliances such as TV, music system, AC, fans, and DVD Player among others. Additionally, both the devices come pre-installed with Matrabhasha service that will allow communication in 21 regional languages. Both devices also support FOTA, and come with preloaded apps including Intex Service, Follo, Opera Mini, Clean Master, Newshunt, Myntra, and Chaatz. The Aqua Raze and Aqua Wing will be available in Black and White colours.
