The Intex Aqua Q3 runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box while the Intex Aqua X15 still runs the now-dated Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
According to the online retailer's listing, the Aqua Q3 comes with a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) IPS display; dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) support; a 1.2GHz quad-core processor; 1GB of RAM; 8GB of inbuilt storage that's further expandable via microSD (up to 32GB); an 8-megapixel rear camera; a secondary 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, and an 1800mAh battery. The Intex Aqua Q3 measures 131.5x65x9.5mm.
The Intex Aqua X15, on the other hand, is listed to feature a 3.5-inch (320x480 pixels) display and support dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) functionality. Other specifications of the handset include a 1GHz single-core processor; 256MB of RAM; 512MB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 32GB); a 2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash; a 0.3-megapixel front camera, and a 1400mAh battery. The phone measures 116x62.8x10.5mm.
Both the Aqua Q3 and Aqua X15 include connectivity options such Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth. The Intex Aqua Q3 supports 3G connectivity while Aqua X15 just supports GPRS/ EDGE.
Intex lately has been on a launching spree and earlier on Monday introduced another budget Aqua series smartphone, the Aqua X, which was listed on the company's site at a price of Rs. 2,699.
The Indian domestic handset maker last week launched the Intex Aqua Power HD for the Indian market, apart from listing the Intex Aqua 5X and Aqua 3G Star on its website.
