Intex's new budget smartphone, the Aqua N7, has gone on sale via an e-commerce website priced at Rs. 3,990. The online retailer lists Rs. 4,434 as the MRP of the Intex Aqua N7.

So far, there has been no announcement regarding the launch of the Aqua N7.

The Android 4.4.2 KitKat-based Intex Aqua N7 comes with dual-SIM support. It features a 4-inch WVGA (480x800 pixels) IPS display and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731 processor coupled with 512MB of RAM.

The handset includes 4GB of built-in storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). It sports an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, while there is a secondary 2-megapixel front-facing camera also onboard. On the connectivity front, the Intex Aqua N7 offers 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth options.

The smartphone packs a 1400mAh battery, which according to Flipkart's listing is rated to deliver up to 5 hours of talk time, and up to 240 hours of standby time. It measures 125.8x63.4x9.8mm and is listed in Black colour. Some of the preloaded apps include Ask Me, Intex Play, MX Player, and Intex Zone.

On Tuesday, Intex officially announced the Intex Aqua Speed at Rs. 7,444. The smartphone will be exclusive to eBay India and will retail at a discounted price of Rs. 7,299.

The highlight of the smartphone is it features 2GB of RAM and is upgradable to Android 5.0 Lollipop. Notably, Intex already launched an Android 5.0 Lollipop-based smartphone, the Aqua Star L in India.
