Intex has quietly slipped out a new smartphone, the Intex Aqua N4. The smartphone has been listed on the firm's official website with no word on price or availability.
The Intex Aqua N4 is a dual-SIM (GSM+WCDMA) smartphone that runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. It comes with a 4-inch display with a WVGA (480x800 pixels) resolution.
A quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor powers the smartphone, clocked at 1.2GHz, coupled with 512MB of RAM. The Intex Aqua N4 sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with flash, while there is a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera also onboard, as per the listing page.
The handset comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 32GB). The wireless connectivity options included in the Intex Aqua N4 are 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, FM radio, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS/ A-GPS.
The Aqua N4 is backed by a 1400mAh battery that claims to deliver up to 5-6 hours of talktime and 200-250 hours of standby time. The smartphone comes in Black, White and Green colour variants. The smartphone measures 127x65x10.7mm and weighs 122 grams.
Last week, Intex launched its first touch-and-type smartphone, the Aqua Qwerty, at Rs. 4,990. The Intex Aqua Qwerty comes with a 3.5-inch HVGA display, a physical QWERTY keypad, dual-SIM capabilities, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, 1.2GHz dual-core processor alongside 512MB of RAM, and a 1500mAh battery. The Aqua Qwerty includes 4GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 32GB). Connectivity options include 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Micro-USB.
