Soon after launching the Aqua Lions 3G smartphone, Intex has now introduced a new entry-level Aqua Joy smartphone. Priced at Rs. 2,799, the Intex Aqua Joy is now listed on the company site with pricing details. The smartphone can be expected to go on sale soon.
The Intex Aqua Joy features a 4-inch WVGA (480x800 pixels) display and comes with pixel density of 233ppi. The Android 5.1 Lollipop-based smartphone supports dual-SIM (GSM+GSM).
It is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731C processor paired with 512MB of RAM and comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage. The handset supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 32GB). The Intex Aqua Joy sports a 0.3-megapixel front and rear cameras. The rear camera comes with LED flash.
It packs a 1450mAh battery with up to 5 hours of talk time and up to 160 hours of standby time. Connectivity options on the Intex Aqua Joy include GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, A-GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and Micro-USB. The smartphone supports 3G on one SIM card slot only.
The Intex Aqua Joy comes preloaded with apps such as Matrabhasha, 360 security, Newshunt, Hike, and Opera Mini. It measures 125x63.9x10.1mm and weighs 110 grams. The smartphone will be available in Black and White colours.
Intex Technologies earlier this week launched the Aqua Lions 3G smartphone priced at Rs. 4,990. The Intex Aqua Lions 3G is a dual-SIM supporting smartphone that runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. It features a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) resolution display and is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, clubbed with 1GB RAM.
