Both the Intex Aqua 3G Pro and Aqua 3G Strong smartphones share some common specifications. The Android 4.4.2 KitKat-based smartphones come with dual-SIM support and feature 4-inch WVGA (480x800 pixels) displays.
Both the new budget smartphones also support 3G connectivity, as the names suggest, one of the highlights of the handsets at the price point. Apart from 3G, other connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and Micro-USB. Both new Intex smartphones sport a 2-megapixel rear camera as well as a 0.3-megapixel front camera. Both smartphones are powered by 1GHz single-core Spreadtrum (SC7715) processor and pack a 1400mAh battery.
There are few differences however, such as the Aqua 3G pro features 512MB of RAM and comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage while the Aqua 3G Strong includes 256MB of RAM and 512MB of inbuilt storage. Both smartphones support expandable storage via microSD card (up to 32GB).
The Intex Aqua 3G Pro measures 125.2x63.3x10mm while the Aqua 3G Strong measures 122.2x63.3x10.1mm.
Commenting on the launch, Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, Mobile Business Head, Intex Technologies said, "The dual announcement cements our purpose of creating the economically attractive and technically luring smartphones.
