The Andi 5Q Cobalt Solus is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device which runs the recent Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. It comes with a 5-inch (720x1280 pixels) HD OGS display and offers a pixel density of 289ppi. The company touts that the Andi 5Q Cobalt Solus features glass finish at the rear panel.
The smartphone is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core (unspecified chipset) processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. The iBall Andi 5Q Cobalt Solus comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). It sports a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, while there is a secondary 5-megapixel front-facing camera also onboard. The rear camera features scene detection, face recognition, Panorama, geo-tagging, Smile shot, face beauty, Panorama mode, and smile shot options.
On the connectivity front, the Andi 5Q Cobalt Solus offers 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth options. The smartphone packs a 2250mAh battery with no word on talk time and standby time. The official listing claims that the iBall Andi 5Q Cobalt Solus packs a proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, and magnetic sensor.
Earlier this month, iBall launched the Windows Phone 8.1-powered Andi 4L Pulse smartphone in India at Rs. 4,999.
Last month, the company had launched its first octa-core tablet, the iBall Slide Octa A41 at Rs. 14,999.
