iBall has launched the Andi 5G Blink 4G smartphone in India. Priced at Rs. 6,299, the smartphone is now listed on the company site without availability details, but we can expect the handset to go on sale soon.
The iBall Andi 5G Blink 4G smartphone features a 5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) IPS display. The official listing says that the smartphone supports dual-SIM and both the SIM cards support 4G connectivity. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. The Andi 5G Blink 4G smartphone supports 4G LTE bands in India - FDD-LTE Band 3 (1800MHz), Band 5, and TDD-LTE Band 40 (2300MHz). The company claims that the Andi 5G Blink 4G can support download speeds of up to 150Mbps and upload speeds of up to 50Mbps. Unfortunately, the handset doesn't support VoLTE (voice over LTE).
It sports a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash. It is powered by a 1GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. It packs 8GB of built-in storage and supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 32GB).
Backed by a 2300mAh battery, the handset supports connectivity options such as GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with hotspot functionality, Bluetooth, FM radio, Micro-USB, USB-OTG, and GPS, apart from 4G.
The company listing confirms that the Andi 5G Blink 4G smartphone supports 9 Indian regional system languages while can support 21 Indian regional languages for read/write. The smartphone comes with auto call recording feature.
Earlier this month, iBall's new Slide-series tablet, Slide Bio-Mate, went on sale via a third-party online retailer priced at Rs. 7,399.
