Huawei on Monday announced the launch of its latest mid-range smartphone, the Huawei Enjoy 7S. The smartphone, which succeeds last year's Huawei Enjoy 6S, is the company's latest to feature a FullView display with an 18:9 aspect ratio.
The Huawei Enjoy 7S is up for pre-orders in Black, Blue, Rose Gold, and Gold colour variants. The 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,499 (roughly Rs. 14,540) and the 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs. 16,480). The smartphone is available for pre-orders in China will go on starting December 22.
The Enjoy 7S is a hybrid dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone and is based on EMUI 8.0 on top of Android 8.0 Oreo. It sports a 5.65-inch full-HD+ (1080x2160 pixels) display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, and a pixel density of 427 ppi.
The Huawei Enjoy 7S is powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 659 processor (4 cores at 2.36GHz and 4 cores at 1.7GHz), coupled with a MaliT830-MP2 GPU, and 3 or 4GB of RAM.
In the camera department, the Huawei Enjoy 7S features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. The front camera is a 2-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calling. The smartphone has an inbuilt storage of 32GB, expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB).
Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and GLONASS. There is a 3000mAh non-removable battery under the hood. The dimensions of the phone are 150.1x72.05x7.45mm and the weight is 143 grams.
Earlier this month, Huawei had announced the launch of the Nova 2s, which sports a 6-inch display with an 18:9 aspect ratio.
