Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2013 might have wrapped up, but the same cannot be said about the season of leaks. The latest set of leaks come from Huawei's stable. Two forthcoming Huawei smartphones have made an appearance online.

The first one is the entry-level Huawei Ascend Plus. @evleaks via Unwiredview.com is reporting that Huawei Ascend Plus will support 4-inch touchscreen and will likely have a resolution of 480X800pixels.The Twitter user also mentions that this smartphone will comes with a 1GHz single-core processor, 4 GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot. Huawei Ascend Plus will allegedly run Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).

For camera, it is expected to come with a 5-megapixel rear shooter. There is no word in regards to what will be the price for this smartphone. @evleaks has also posted a purported picture of this smartphone.

The pictures and specifications of the other smartphone - Huawei Ascend G710 - too has been leaked. @evleaks is claiming that Huawei Ascend G710 will sport a 5-inch with 720p HD display. It is said to be powered by 1.5GHz quad-core processor. Though it is not clear which company has manufactured the processor but Unwiredview is speculating that may well be Huawei's own CPU. The smartphone looks to be a high-end smartphone with metal finish and is expected to support dual-SIM CDMA+GSM connectivity.

The smartphone is likely to be available only in China. The pricing details for this smartphone are sketchy at the moment but as per Unwiredview.com, as the screen resolution of Huawei Ascend G710 is lesser than Ascend D2, it should be more affordable of the two. Huawei had launched Ascend D2 last month at the CES and it comes with the same screen size.

The website further goes on to claims that as G-Series smartphones are supposed to be cheaper than D and P series phone, this smartphone will likely be cheaper the Ascend P2. Huawei Ascend P2 was unveiled at the MWC and is expected to be available by the second quarter of 2012 for about 400 Euros.
