HTC has launched the One mini in India for Rs. 36,790, a 'mini' variant of its flagship smartphone, the HTC One. Recently, the device was spotted at Flipkart with a price tag of Rs. 37,299.

The HTC One mini was unveiled back in July; the device features the same design as that of its elder sibling, the HTC One. It also features the same BoomSound speakers, though they're smaller compared to the ones featured in the HTC One. The HTC One mini sports a 4.3-inch S-LCD3 display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels and pixel density of 341ppi.

The One mini is powered by a 1.4GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and has 1GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage but doesn't feature any external expansion options. The smartphone runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with HTC's Sense 5 UI layer on top, and includes HTC's BlinkFeed UI. The HTC One mini sports the same UltraPixel camera (with a 4-megapixel lens) that the HTC One boasts of.

Earlier this week, the Taiwanese handset maker launched its latest mid-range smartphone, the Desire 500 for Rs. 21,490 in India.

The HTC Desire 500 is powered by a quad-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It features a 4.3-inch WVGA (480x800 pixels) display. There is 4GB inbuilt storage that can be further expandable up to 64GB with the help of microSD card. An 8-megapixel rear camera can be found at the back accompanied by an LED flash and a 1.6-megapixel front camera. The device can record videos at 720p and also features Beats Audio. The phone measures 131.8x66.9x9.9mm and weighs 123 grams.
