The HTC One Max has seemingly leaked again and this time it is being compared to Samsung's Galaxy Note phablets. The images were posted on Chinese forum, Weibo and first picked by SIM Only Radar. The new leaked images show the rumoured HTC One Max being compared alongside the Samsung Galaxy Note II and Galaxy Note 3.

The images do not reveal a lot of details related to the HTC's alleged upcoming phablet, except for some indications about its size. In the leaked images, three devices, the alleged HTC One Max, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Note II, are kept side-by-side with display of all the three devices switched on. The HTC One Max appears the tallest among the three devices.

The leaked images also suggest that the HTC One Max will have a removable back with room for micro-SIM card. The leaked images reveal the fingerprint scanner feature at the rear panel, which has been rumoured for a while now.

The site has noted AnTuTu benchmark results of the HTC One Max, reporting a score of 26417 (better than the HTC One and the Nexus 4). GSMarena claims this almost guarantees the chipset to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 600, the same as what powers the HTC One, since the scores are nearly identical. Moreover, Digitimes sites some sources in the supply chain and claims that Taiwanese giant will adopt the old Qualcomm processor for the production of company's first phablet.

Digitimes also notes that the company is going with an old chipset because of insufficient supply of Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processors as the same chipset is being used by a number of handset makers like Sony, LG, Asus, Acer and Xiaomi. As per the site's source, the use of old chipsets in HTC's upcoming phablet might affect its sales.

Earlier, a press render of the HTC's phablet branding revealing the official name for the device, HTC One 'max' leaked.

The HTC One Max has been rumoured to feature a 5.9-inch full-HD display with 1080x1920 pixels resolution, 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor with 2GB of RAM and Wi-Fi. The device is expected to sport a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera and an UltraPixel camera at the back, which was first introduced with the HTC One. Some reports had suggested that the device would run Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with HTC's Sense 5.5 UI on top.
