The One M9 Prime Camera Edition is available in contract at around EUR 22.70 (approximately Rs. 1,700) per month for a period of 24 months, according to a report. The HTC One M9 Prime Camera Edition sports an all-metal unibody design and comes in single-tone Gunmetal Grey and Gold, same as the HTC One M9.
The handset however comes with slightly different innards compared to the HTC One M9. Unlike the One M9 that packed an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, the Prime Camera Edition is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 clocked at 2.2GHz. It comes with 2GB of RAM and includes 16GB of built-in storage which is lower than that in the One M9.
The new One M9 Prime Camera Edition runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with the company's brand new Sense 7 UI on top. The One M9 supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 2TB). It retains the 5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display seen on the One M9.
In the camera department, the One M9 Prime Camera Edition sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with OIS, dual-LED flash, and 4K video recording. It also sports 4-UltraPixel front-camera, same as One M9. To recall, the HTC One M9 came with a 20-megapixel autofocus rear camera.
Connectivity options on the One M9 Prime Camera Edition include Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, NFC, Glonass, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, and LTE. The One M9 Prime Camera Edition packs a 2840mAh battery which is same as the One M9. It measures 144.6x69.7x9.61mm and weighs 158 grams.
