The HTC One Gold edition is a premium version of the flagship smartphone with a new colour addition of 24-carat gold on the design of the device. It was spotted by GSMarena that notes the HTC One Gold edition is custom manufactured by Gold Genie, which has previously been associated with gold plating the devices. The site also notes that Platinum and Rose Gold editions of the device will also be available soon.
The HTC One Gold edition 32GB variant reportedly comes at $3,015 (Rs. 1,90,400 approximately), the Platinum edition of the HTC One has been priced at $3,332 (Rs. 2,10,450 approximately) while the last of the three, the Rose Gold edition comes with a price tag of $3,173 (Rs. 2,00,400 approximately).
Recently, the HTC One was spotted in Gold colour in leaked images. The images revealed the front and rear chassis of the HTC One Gold model. However, the parts from the rear panel were missing in the images. However, not much details related to the alleged HTC One Gold variant was revealed.
Originally the HTC One was launched in two colour variants, Black and Silver. Soon, the company showcased a 'Glamour Red' version of the device. The Glamour Red variant of HTC One was offered initially in the UK through Phone4U and was later rolled out in other European countries.
HTC announced a new colour option for the HTC One, dubbed as Vivid Blue which joined the three existing colour options - Black, Silver and Red at IFA.
