According to the Orange site listing (now pulled down), the One A9 smartphone will be priced at EUR 599 (approximately Rs. 44,500). Some of the other innards revealed via the telecom operator's listing (via OnLeaks) of the HTC One A9 include a 5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display; a 13-megapixel rear camera; a 4-megapixel UltraPixel camera, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Preliminary leaks have suggested that the HTC One A9 will come with 2GB of RAM; 16GB of inbuilt storage expandable via a microSD card, and a 2150mAh battery. It is also said to sport a metal build and 7mm thickness.
Corroborating earlier leaked images, the images listed by Orange for the HTC One A9 shows bold curved edges and two wireless antenna lines running on the top and bottom edges, reminiscent of the iPhone. The front panel can be seen with a physical button at the bottom that might double up as a fingerprint sensor as well. The rear camera on the One A9 is placed on the top centre of the handset. The right edges can be seen in the leaked images housing the power and volume rocker buttons. The left side of the handset includes slots for SIM card and microSD card.
HTC at the end of September had scheduled the Tuesday launch event and had started sending press invites that said, "Meet the Marshmallow from HTC," tipping that the company's upcoming device would run the latest Android OS. The HTC event will kick off at 12pm ET (translating to 9:30pm IST) on Tuesday.
