HTC forthcoming flagship smartphone has been in the news for quite some time now, all thanks to the various leaks. The smartphone is again in news for being shown off by none other than their CEO himself. The usually soft-spoken Peter Chou seems to be super excited about their upcoming smartphone and was seen yelling "HTC! HTC! M7! M7!"

This video was taken at a recent end-of-year party in Taipei broadcast by Taiwan's NextTV. Chou even thanked the HTC M7 team for working overtime in recent weeks. He was also seen holding a white HTC M7 with which he took pictures of the audience.

This not only confirms the existence of the smartphone but also confirms that this smartphone is indeed called M7. HTC has already sent out invites for an event on February 19, and it is expected that the company will be unveiling its M7 smartphone here.

As per previous rumours, it is likely that HTC M7 will have Qualcomm 1.7GHz quad-core processor and run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It is also expected to have the latest version of Sense UI. The smartphone will also come with a 4.7-inch SoLux 1080p full-HD 468ppi touch display, a 13-megapixel rear camera and will also support 4G LTE.

Other specs that are expected are 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and a 2-megapixel front camera.

Grapevine has it that this smartphone will start retailing in UK from March 8 and will then be making its way to US. In US it is expected to be available through various partners including AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile.

Apart from the HTC M7, the company is expected to launch two more devices shortly. As per @evleaks via Unwiredview, these two smartphones have been codenamed HTC M4 and HTC G2. The site claims that M4 is another premium smartphone, which will be one notch below the HTC M7 and will come with a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon SoC running Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), along with Sense 5.0.

Unwiredview also shares that HTC M4 will have a 4.3-inch screen which supports resolution of 720p, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and a 13-megapixel rear shooter. Furthermore, it will support LTE.

As per the site, The HTC G2 will be an entry-level device with a 3.5-inch screen with HVGA display, 512MB RAM and a 5-megapixel camera. This smartphone is touted to have 1GHz processor and run on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).

Though there is no word on when these two devices will see the light of the day but it is likely that they feature along with HTC M7 on February 19 event or perhaps a little later at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2013.
