HTC launched the Desire 626 Dual SIM in India in February at Rs. 14,990. A few days after launch the company slashed the price of the smartphone by Rs. 1,000, and now it has announced a further price cut of Rs. 2,000 on the smartphone. The HTC Desire 626 Dual SIM can now be purchased for Rs. 11,990.
The company announced the price cut on social media, and the price cut reflects on its India eStore. Just last week, HTC also announced the HTC Desire 630 in India for Rs. 14,990.
To recall, the HTC Desire 626 Dual SIM (supports Nano-SIM + Nano-SIM) comes with HTC Sense UI on top of Android 4.4.4 KitKat. It features a 5-inch (720x1280 pixels) HD display, a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor, and 2GB of RAM.

The Desire 626 Dual SIM offers 16GB of built-in storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 32GB). It sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with a BSI sensor, f/2.2 aperture, 28mm lens, and LED flash. There's also a 5-megapixel fixed-focus front-facing camera with a BSI sensor.
The HTC Desire 626 Dual SIM supports 4G LTE, 3G, Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, A-GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, DLNA, GLONASS, and FM radio connectivity options. It is powered by a 2000mAh battery and includes accelerometer, ambient light, and magnetometer. Lastly, the smartphone measures 146.9x70.9x8.19mm and weighs 135 grams.
